Financial aid for college/graduate school
The criteria to receive financial aid for college or graduate school from ESAP are:
- At least an associate’s degree or 3 years’ experience as a substance abuse counselor
- Currently working as a professional in the substance abuse field in North Carolina
- If in recovery, at least three years’ sobriety
- Commitment to a clinical career that involves professional substance abuse counseling
- Already accepted in an accredited institution of higher learning that is physically located in North Carolina
